Description

The precision fibre cleaver allows the precise preparation of a bare fibre strand. The cleaver features a unique oil damper system to overcome problems with cleave quality, this system completely controls the blade carriage eliminating vibration shock to the fibre resulting in a dramatic improvement to the cleaved face.

Features
- Accepts fibre core diameters between 80µm and 125µm
- Accepts fibre sheath diameters between 250µm and 900µm
- Cleaving angled of 90 degress +/- 0.5 degree
- Cleave length of 5mm to 20mm
- Blade life: approx. 60,000 cleaves

This kit provides all of the essential tools to perform fibre termination when using the FIC connectors. The kit comprises of the following components;
