Overview

Pre-terminated assemblies alleviate the issue of performing connector polishing or fibre splicing on-site. The cable is supplied cut to length with connectors applied and polished thus allowing for only instalation of the unit fixing to the appropriate patch panel or wall box to complete the work.

Assemblies are available in three manufacture styles depending on the customer's installation requirements.

    - Loose Tube
    - Tight Buffered
    - Full Breakout
Connectors must be specified for application at each end of the fibre type - singlemode, multimode (50/125 or 62.5/125)

Special fibre types such as OM3 or NZ-DSF singlemode require prior discussion with our sales team.

Loose Tube Assembly

• Internal and External Use
• 2mm breakout for ruggedised use
• Staggered tails, labelled for identification
• Black UV stabilised standard outer sheath
• Singlemode or Multimode fibre
• Connector styles to suit application
• Suitable for direct patching
• Clear protective sock
• UK manufactured product
• Available in lengths upto 2km
• SWA and CST armoured versions available
• Field deployable versions available (supplied on a reel dispenser) for outside broadcast and other short term exposed environments
• Marcaddy redeployable reels - optional extra for temporary links
• IP65 rated assemblies available
• Full test results supplied with each assembly (available in paper form or disc format)

Tight Buffered Assembly

• Internal Use (universal jacket available)
• 900um tails, coloured for identification
• Black UV stabilised standard outer sheath
• Singlemode or Multimode fibre
• Connector styles to suit application
• Swivel gland for fibre protection
• Clear protective sock
• UK manufactured product
• Available in lengths upto 2km
• Field deployable versions available (supplied on a reel dispenser) for outside broadcast and other short term exposed environments
• Marcaddy redeployable reels - optional extra for temporary links
• IP65 rated assemblies available
• Full test results supplied with each assembly (available in paper form or disc format)
