These Transmit and Receive Balun Adapters provide a low cost solution for connecting a balanced 120ohm twisted pair interface to an unbalanced 75ohm coax network, or, vice versa. The Balun Adapters provide isolation protection and impedance matching, enabling 75ohm coaxial networks to interface with 120ohm twisted pair equipment, bi-directionally, matching signal impedance and pulse shapes in accordance with the G.703 standard. Suitable for 2-8Mbit/s E1 (T1), E2 (T2) data streams.

These Balun Adapters allow bulky and expensive coaxial cable to be replaced by category 5 data grade twisted pair cable.
Used in pairs these baluns provide easy connection via a BNC plug and RJ45 socket to CCTV composite video and security systems. The panel mount version, Part Number TKMCVBA-PM can be mounted in a standard 19" rack, using our 1U Combi Panel.
