Air-Lokk

Air-Lokk Floor Gland

What is Air-Lokk?

A totally unique concept, which corrects inadequacies in old fashioned floor grommets/glands. Preventing the wasteful escape of cooling air, through voids in a 19" cabinets or the floor.

Air-Lokk effectively closes the escape routes ensuring that cooling air flows only through the active equipment present in the cabinet. Giving significant energy savings, due to the increased efficiency of the Air Conditoning System.

How Does It Work?

Unlike other brush strip glands which are attached to the edges and meet in the centre. The Air-Lokk floor gland patented system consists of brush strips attached to a central bar which are pre-stressed to resist air pressure and press down onto the radiused sides of the glands. Acting like leaf springs, providing firm support to both ends of the brush and the brush tips. Thus imparting greater resistance to air pressure.

Features & Benefits

Power and Data Separator

The Power/Data partition separates power cables from data cables.

The partition forms a "bridge", which can be placed in the frame after large power connectors

have been passed through the Air-Lokk, so any size of pre-terminated connectors can be used.

Fibre optic cable can be introduced through the cut-outs in the "bridge" to utilise the data separation space effectively.
