Description |
Fitted to the rear of the cabinet, the standard CL20 RDHx (or Retrofit CL20 RDHx) houses a large cooling coil and is fitted with six variable speed controlled centrifugal fans providing precision cooling over the entire rear face of the cabinet.
Working in harmony with the air-conditioning system, the CL20 doors take the brunt of the heat load, creating an efficient and robust solution.
The simple and effective concept of removing heat directly at source ensures that there is no recirculation of hot air within the data centre. This combined with using water as the cooling medium (approximately 3500 times more effective than air by volume) the CL20 RDHx saves energy costs whilst ensuring a stable, safe and chilled rack environment.
